Founder and President

As a Lean In Circles Regional Leader, I support a large network of women and men dedicated to gender equality. I organize events, hold training and networking sessions, and work with the LeanIn.Org team to grow and engage the Lean In community.

The Regional Leaders Program is a pilot program of LeanIn.Org, the nonprofit organization founded by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg to empower all women to achieve their ambitions. The Regional Leaders Program highlights the work of individuals within the Lean In community and provides them with the financial and operational support they need to be successful.

Founder

A Mobile Application for high school girls to learn algorithms at young and encourage CS adoption. The application is in prototype phase and has encouraged 8 high-school girls to sign up into Code.Org.

Student Feedback System, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Womem

Backend Programmer

The Student Feedback System is an automated system where the students of the college give their feedback to the teachers at the end of the semester. It generates the report detailing the performance of every teacher based on the feedback given by the students. It was developed using HTML, CSS and Javascript in the frontend and PHP in the backend.

Autism Spectrum Disorder Detection Tool

Android/iOS Application

AIIMS modification of INDT-ASD tool was developed and validated by Child Neurology Division, Department of Pediatrics, ALL India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The original tool developed by INCLEN-NDD project was published in Indian Pediatrics and is available online at : http://www.indianpediatrics.net/may2014/may-359-365.htm [Indian Pediatr 2014;51: 359-365]. This tool was modified to include sensory component and expanding the age group to 1-14 years. The modified tool was then validated in a study carried out at the aforementioned center and post validation has now been transformed into an app for ease of point of care use. The app has simple straightforward questions with “yes” and “no” answers, which would facilitate diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Chilhood Epilepsy Detection Tool

Android/iOS Application

This mobile based application has been developed by the Child Neurology Division, Department of Pediatrics, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The app is based on AIIMS modification of INDT-EPI tool. The original tool has been published in Indian Pediatrics [INCLEN Diagnostic Tool for Epilepsy (INDT-EPI) for Primary Care Physicians: Development and Validation. 2014 Jul;51(7):539-43]. This tool was modified to include information about epileptic spasms, focal seizures, atonic seizures, symptomatic seizures and the age group up to 18 years . The modified tool was then validated in a study carried out at the aforementioned center and post validation has now been transformed into an app for ease of point of care use. The app has simple straightforward questions with “yes” and “no” answers, which would facilitate diagnosis of epilepsy.

Facebook Grace Hopper Celebration for Women in Computing Scholarship

This unique scholarship program by Facebook gives 50 women excelling in Computer Science the opportunity not only to attend the GHC Celebration, but to spend valuable days before the conference with Facebook engineers learning, collaborating, and preparing for the conference.As a part of the conference4, Facebook provides paid registration for the Grace Hopper Celebration,paid travel and lodging, including a pre-Grace Hopper Celebration program in Houston that includes tech talks, mentoring sessions and networking events from October 16-19, 2016, an invitation to a private reception with Facebook's Engineering Team during the Grace Hopper Celebration and additional meal stipend



Google Women Techmakers APAC Scholarship

The Google Anita Borg memorial scholarship (Asia Pacific) is given to women for excellence in computer science, leadership and passion for technology. The Anita Borg memorial scholarship is instituted after Dr Anita Borg who founded the Systers online community in 1987, well before the concept of an online community was part of the mainstream.

A group of women undergraduate and postgraduate students is chosen from the applicant pool, and scholarships are awarded, based on the strength of each candidate’s academic background and demonstrated leadership.



Lean In Regional Leaders Conference

Lean In Regional Leaders from all over the world are invited to the Lean In Regional Leaders Conference help at Facebook Headquaters and Stanford University. Leaders get the oppurtunity to interact with other Regional Leaders from around the world, interact with Sheryl Sandberg and the Lean In Team and share best practices.



Udacity Android Developer Nanodegree program Scholarship by Tata Trusts and Google India

Google and Tata Trusts have partnered to educate students in Android development to meet the growing demand for Android developers. Together they are offering 1,000 scholarships to students in India to take the Android Developer Nanodegree program for free.

Students participating in the Nanodegree program will benefit from expert coaching and build a portfolio of their own projects to showcase their skills with potential employers. Students who graduate from the program will receive verified certification and job placement opportunities.

Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing India - Student Scholarship

The conference is co-presented by the Anita Borg Institute (ABI) India and Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) India. ABI India has been successfully organizing this annual conference since 2010. GHCI focuses on the career, research and entrepreneur interests of women in computing and technology. Presenters at the conference are leaders in their respective fields from industry, academia and government.

The conference results in collaborative proposals, networking and mentoring for attendees. The conference also offers professional development through a variety of activities.
